I am currently recruiting graduate students and postdocs for Fall 2026, so reach out if you are interested. I also have ongoing opportunities for TCU undergraduates interested in research. See the Join Us page for more information.

We are broadly interested in how ecological selection generates, maintains, or eliminates phenotypic and genetic diversity both within populations and between species. We address these questions using integrative approaching including genomics, morphological, and ecological techniques as well as in museum, laboratory, and field settings. Currently, we primarily work on amphibians and reptiles in the southern United States and the Caribbean. Ongoing projects in the lab include the conservation genomics of Caribbean reptiles, understanding how historical and contemporary landscapes influence local adaptation, the influence of within species interactions on phenotypic evolution, and studying novel community interactions.
